Story

The Stobe was born when a beer and glass loving Finnish designer decided to combine his two passions.

”I wanted to make a beer glass that exudes the same passionate spirit as the finest craft beers."

The first version of the glass was born using a mould made from asp wood guerilla-harvested from a tree fallen in a winter storm in a woodland park in a Helsinki suburb. 

"Glass is fascinating - it's invisible. Glass makes beer seem like it's floating in air, in a controlled form that you can hold in your hand."
